Head Coach
Mark "Red" Behrens

Coach Behrens is the Campus Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach for Sachse High School. He is originally from Everman, TX, and played football at McMurray University, where he was named to the McMurry Athletic Hall of Honor in 2005. Coach Behrens previously coached at Naaman Forest, South Garland and Clyde High School before opening Sachse in 2001. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have two kids, Michael and Emily. He wants his players to remember, "I always cared about all of our player and have expectations for them, with their best interests at heart, even it it meant tough love."
